Through the SJFL Charity Fund the league, together with additional club donations, has raised over £2800 (season 2018-19) and this has enabled the gift to five charities of £500 each. Those charities benefiting this year were: Shrewsbury Epilepsy Support Group, Shrewsbury Music Therapy Unit and Trust Fund, Isaac Jones Fund, Cardiac Risk In The Young and Shropshire Dyslexia Association.
