Charity work 2017

Through the SJFL Charity Fund (which runs the U10-U11 Festival events and U13 & U14 county cup competition fixtures), the league, and with additional club donations, has raised over £2700 this season and this has enabled the gift to five charities of £500 each. Those charities benefting this year were:

• Recharge Telford Community Scheme
• Neonatal Unit, Ward 23 at Princess Royal Hospital
• Little Rascals Foundation
• West Mercia Search and Rescue
• Zac Harris

The cheque presentation was made by Officers of the League, Georgia Williams Trust and Shropshire FA President. SJFL has now raised over £27,000 this millennium alone and gifted 60 charities.
