Simon Lee
The SJFL ‘Tom Farmer’ Volunteer of the year is presented to Simon Lee from Shrewsbury Up & Comers. This is a new award and gifted to the SJFL by the family of the late Tom Farmer (former Chairman and President of Shropshire FA and national FA delegate for the county). Tom was a great supporter and advocate of youth football who regularly attended SJFL finals and festivals. Simon Lee has been recognised for his outstanding service to community football as under his chairmanship at Up & Comers he has brought excellence in delivering grass roots junior football opportunities for boys and girls from crèche, Saturday Clubs up to U18 age groups. Simon is also very willing and supportive to football initiatives that bring community benefits for both club and league.
